Queensland Garden Expo

Queensland’s premier gardening event attracting 40,000+ visitors from all over Australia and New Zealand for a three-day expo on the Sunshine Coast.

Here at Fresh, we won’t lead you up the garden path unless it’s to visit the Queensland Garden Expo! We have been working with their team for more than a decade to create and grow the media exposure of the event to ultimately increase the visitor numbers. We sowed all the seeds to build strong media relationships which no doubt contributed to the record number of visitors in 2019 with in excess of 40,000 people attending. Through the delivery of a four-month media campaign annually in the lead-up to this award-winning event, we deliver timely information to long- and short-lead media across print, radio, TV and online channels.

The Queensland Garden Expo is a three-day event hosted annually in July on the Sunshine Coast.  It was established in 1984 and has delivered an estimated $173 million in direct economic benefit to the region over this time. The event showcases 360-plus exhibitors and displays including 55 nurseries selling over 40,000 plants every year. It also includes Australia’s most impressive speaker program at a gardening event with 120-plus free lectures and demonstrations across eight speaker stages and including the likes of Costa Georgiadis, Jerry Coleby-Williams and Sophie Thomson from Gardening Australia, Gardening Guru Phil Dudman and many more big names in gardening.
