Hailing from Tasmania, Helen brings a considered, strategic approach underpinned by extensive experience across brand, marketing and communications. With a foundation in design, she applies creative thinking to develop clear, outcomes-driven strategies - ensuring messaging, positioning and communications frameworks are both effective and engaging.
Helen’s diverse career spans high-profile events, national campaigns and complex stakeholder environments. From delivering national media launches and managing large-scale public events, to leading brand and communications strategies for regional local government, and organisations such as Sunshine Coast Airport, Stockland and Brain and Mind Hub, she is experienced in navigating both opportunity and risk. This breadth enables her to respond with clarity and confidence in fast-moving or high-pressure situations.
She is equally comfortable working at a grassroots level or leading strategic communications and engagement initiatives - bringing structure, insight and calm to complex projects. Helen is known for her ability to distil key messages, align stakeholders and develop authentic communications that protect and enhance reputation.
Holding an IAP2 Certificate in Engagement, Helen has spent the past decade delivering community and stakeholder engagement projects across local government and corporate sectors. She is an experienced facilitator of workshops, focus groups and community consultation processes, with a strong understanding of managing diverse and, at times, sensitive stakeholder environments.
