Our founding Director of Fresh is the ultimate professional and has earned a reputation for delivering outstanding results for her clients each and every time.

Bringing international in-house public relations experience from Volkswagen of South Africa; and Marks & Spencer and Trustmarque International in the UK, Maya has a keen understanding of how best to work with in-house teams to provide the support required, while always operating within corporate guidelines and respecting brand principles.

Having managed consultancies in the past she understands better than anyone how valuable it is to have an external perspective on industry trends and communications opportunities. This, combined with her extensive hands-on consultancy experience since establishing Fresh in 2004, has given her a valuable skillset equally transferable across metro and regional markets. Her strategic approach has seen the award-winning consultancy grow from strength to strength.

Maya has become a valuable advisor to many long-term clients including Stockland, McNab, Travis Schultz & Partners, Capital Property Group, the Queensland Garden Show, the Sunshine Coast Business Council and charities such as Wishlist. She is a current Board Member and former Chair of the Sunshine Coast Major Events Board, and a nominated Board Member of Wishlist. She loves a good spreadsheet and doesn’t run away from the hard stuff like crisis and issues management; in fact, she thrives under pressure and specialises in supporting our clients to navigate through challenging situations.
