Meet our team dynamo! Amber ‘s successful career in the private, public and corporate sectors along with her energy to burn and passion for what she does, has seen her develop a strong fan base over the past two decades. And rightly so!
She has an excellent track record in developing and implementing successful strategic public relations campaigns and developing international, award-winning community engagement and marketing strategies.
She is an exceptional facilitator, organiser, coordinator and MC. More recently, she has been working with clients to help them tell their stories and engage more effectively with their audiences using digital media, whilst not forgetting the importance of traditional ‘touch points’.
Holding a Graduate Certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Amber is a Member of the Immanuel Lutheran College Finance and Business Committee, an Ambassador for the Buderim Foundation, Marketing Mentor for Generation Innovation and regularly guest lectures in marketing, PR, crisis management, community engagement and event management at the University of the Sunshine Coast and the University of Queensland.
She has been a member of Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network for the past 20 years. She is also a member of the Maroochydore Chamber of Commerce and over the years, Amber has been an active member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2).
Amber has worked closely with the Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council where she facilitated community forums across Queensland as part of a major project to collect evidence-based research which looked at the way sentencing works in the community and for government. Amber also undertook a major project alongside the University of Queensland and Townsville City Council to implement a community engagement program, including the training of 150 staff.
Her giving and generous spirit sees Amber provide pro-bono communication advice to a number of community organisations and charities across the Sunshine Coast, including (but not limited to) SunnyKids, The Buderim Foundation, Sunshine Coast Oriana Choir, Buderim Men’s Shed, Immanuel Lutheran College, and the Sunshine Coast Marlins Cricket Team to name a few.
Amber has a Bachelor of Arts with a triple major in Communications, Public Relations and Asian Studies. She is a qualified International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Practitioner, holds a Certificate IV in Project Management and a Certificate III and IV in Outdoor Adventure Education.
Her passion is to work with clients on the inside through team strategy days and personality profiling in order to help individuals and teams bring out the best in themselves. She believes when the inside is ‘humming’, the outside starts ‘drumming’ and that’s when teams and businesses can truly thrive.
