Coast women to finish year on inspirational note

November 24, 2011

Members of the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network will be challenged to live their best life each and every day when guest speaker, Julie Cross addresses them at the special Christmas breakfast on December 13, at The Events Centre in Caloundra.

Julie, an award-winning speaker and mum of two, will present her spellbinding ‘It’s All About You’ presentation, taking guests on an entertaining and inspiring journey to discover that no matter what the time of year or what challenges they face everyone has a right to fun, laughter and feeling good.

Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network President, Sue Willis believes the festive season is a great time to reflect on the goals we’ve set and to remember to enjoy the journey, not just focus on the destination.

“It’s always a great time to reflect on the year that has been and to look forward to what lies ahead. We are delighted to have Julie with us for breakfast to share her tips on celebrating and discovering moments of joy along the way,” said Sue.

“Our Christmas breakfasts are always lots of fun and offer great networking opportunities for our members and their guests. This year we have decided to host our breakfast in Caloundra in support of our sponsorship partner The Events Centre and to provide easier access to those in the south of the region. We look forward to welcoming them to the event.”

Other highlights will be a surprise visit from a seasonal special guest, the presentation of the 2011 SCBWN Bursaries to students from the University of the Sunshine Coast and a show of support for the local charity Sunnykids Community Service Group.

The Christmas breakfast, which is proudly sponsored by Business Faculty at the University of the Sunshine Coast, will be held at The Event Centre, 20 Minchinton Street, Caloundra and will commence with networking from 6:30am for a 7am start.

Bookings are essential and close at 11am on Thursday, December 8. Please call Michele on 0412 525 854 or visit www.scbwn.org.au. The cost for members is $39.50 or $56.50 for guests or non-members, which includes a glass of champagne and a full breakfast.

Ends.
