Speakers to ignite Christmas spirit for Coast women

November 23, 2010

For their very special Christmas breakfast, over 200 members of the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network will be joined by Allan and Barbara Pease, celebrated as one of Australia’s most successful publishing duo’s and renowned among the world’s leading communication and relationship experts.

Barbara and Allan have written fifteen bestselling books (nine of these were No. 1 bestsellers) translated into 51 languages, marketed in over 100 countries and sold over 25 million copies. With titles including the multi-million selling Definitive Book of Body Language and other indispensable books such as Why Men Don’t Have a Clue & Women Always Need More Shoes, local business women attending the event will be in their element when Barbara and Allan share their secrets and successes in this fun “on the couch” style event.

Never still, Barbara and Allan divide their time between Europe and Queensland (we can claim them as our own) and have six children and five grandchildren to keep them busy. Their perceptive yet light-hearted insights into relationships between men and women ensure they are constantly in demand, taking them to over thirty countries a year to give their famous seminars and conferences.

Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network President, Sue Willis says that Barbara and Allan are among the most amazing and powerful presenters and we look forward to welcoming them as part of this year’s celebratory Christmas breakfast.

“Some speakers motivate, some teach and others entertain but Barbara and Allan do all three! It’s easy to see why they have become internationally renowned as some of the world’s most popular speakers and I’m sure there that every woman attending will be inspired and entertained that morning, “said Sue.

Allan, who earned the international title as ‘Mr Body Language’ has over thirty years experience as a speaker and Barbara is Australia’s biggest selling female non-fiction author. They met at a seminar on communication skills and this business meeting soon developed into an amazing love affair and huge global business that have flourished for over 20 years.

“So if there’s any questions you ever wanted to ask Allan and Barbara (but were afraid to…) such as whether it’s true that Men Don’t Listen and more, come along to this very special event and hear it from the experts!” Sue said.

The Christmas breakfast is proudly sponsored by University of the Sunshine Coast and will be held at the Maroochydore Surf Club. The event will commence with networking from 6:30am, kicking off at 7am.

Ends.
