Reed welcomes new Senior Development Manager

March 25, 2013

One of Queensland’s most well established, family-owned property companies, Reed Property Group (RPG), has recently appointed Dean Bromage as the company’s new Senior Development Manager.

Mr Bromage will be based at the company’s head office in Maroochydore, and will turn his attention to the mixed-use Emporio development in Maroochydore.

Reed Property Group Managing Director Ken Reed said he was delighted to welcome Mr Bromage to the team and felt confident the construction management expert would bring valuable skills and knowledge to the role.

“Dean brings almost 20 years of experience in the building and construction industry to the position, having worked in a broad range of fields including architecture, development and project management,” Mr Reed said.

“After a comprehensive recruitment process, we believe we’ve found the right mix in Dean to assist us with continuing to successfully deliver quality residential, commercial, retail and hospitality projects.”

“In particular, Dean’s experience in managing mixed-use projects will be advantageous, as we are currently in the process of delivering Emporio, the Sunshine Coast’s first true mixed-use development in the heart of the Maroochydore CBD.”

Born and bred in Melbourne, Mr Bromage has joined the many Australians making a sea change, having recently moved to the Sunshine Coast to take on the new role.

Mr Bromage said the opportunity to live and work on the Sunshine Coast had been too good to refuse and he had jumped at the opportunity to make the move.

“Not everyone can say they’ve been given the opportunity to do the work they love in one of the most beautiful places in the world; I consider myself very lucky,” Mr Bromage said.

Mr Bromage joins RPG after four years working as a Senior Development Manager for the Victorian Government. He has also held roles with property developers Stockland, Lascorp Development Group and Dennis Family Corporation.
