Record sales as Emporio campaign kicks off

18 apartments snapped up in one week

February 21, 2013

It’s been a while since a development has attracted this much attention.

In just one week since the launch of the Emporio Stage Two campaign, 18 apartments have been sold and developer Reed Property Group is fielding calls from hundreds of interested parties from across Australia.

Emporio, located in the heart of Maroochydore on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, has been dubbed an ‘ideal opportunity for investors’ by property guru Michael Matusik, thanks to strong growth in the region, steady job creation and an increasing demand for new, affordable housing.

But according to Reed Property Group Sales and Marketing Manager Jason Kollanyi, it’s the rare cash flow-positive opportunities that are getting the phones to ring hot.

“It doesn’t happen often that investment properties offer positive returns from day one so it’s not surprising that the interest in 3 Emporio Place has been so significant,” Mr Kollanyi said.

“Emporio is one of only a select number of developments that qualify for specific government-funded tax incentives that are very appealing to both investors and potential tenants. When you’re offering positive cash flow opportunities and access to quality tenants in a high demand area, you get the kind of sales figures we’ve seen in the past week.”

Mr Kollanyi said with the Sunshine Coast health sector growing significantly, he anticipated the popular Maroochydore development would be in strong demand amongst allied health workers looking to rent on the Sunshine Coast.

“Emporio’s close proximity to shops and office space means the development is likely to attract local workers looking to live nearby.”

“This is great news for investors who are seeking quality tenants with a reliable income source.”

Apartments at 3 Emporio Place are priced from just $267,500 — approximately 30 per cent less than other new apartment projects in the region.

For more information about the Emporio development and the tax incentives on offer, visit the on-site sales office at 3 Emporio Place, Cnr Maroochy Blvd and Plaza Parade, Maroochydore or contact Nick Criss on (07) 5431 8500.
