Q1 developer enters Sunshine Coast market

June 7, 2011

Sunland Group, the developer who brought the Gold Coast both Q1, the world’s tallest residential tower and Palazzo Versace, the first fashion-branded hotel, now has its sights on the Sunshine Coast with their Peregian Springs development, The Pavilions set to launch in early June 2011.

Sunland’s design philosophy throughout their 27-year history infuses every element of the Group’s projects – from the architecture and interior design, to striking urban art installations, master-planned sustainable communities, parklands and open space. Today, the Group is delivering a $1.4 billion portfolio across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

The Pavilions will be their first built project on the Sunshine Coast which will see three-bedroom residences released into the rapidly growing area across various stages.

Sunland Managing Director, Sahba Abedian, says this project demonstrates the group’s long-term confidence in the Sunshine Coast where they have identified an opportunity to introduce architecturally designed homes at affordable prices.

“The Sunshine Coast is considered one of the most desirable places to live, and Sunland have a wonderful opportunity to present The Pavilions in this remarkable lifestyle destination. With three-bedroom residences starting from $439,000, the homes at The Pavilions present great value when compared to other regions along Australia’s eastern seaboard,” Mr Abedian said.

“The Sunshine Coast has many features that make it attractive for interstate, intra-state and overseas migration and we are confident in the region’s continued performance over the coming years for residential investment. Partnered with The Pavilions prime seaside location, innovative designs and affordable price range we anticipate buyers will capitalise on that growth by investing now.”

The first stage of 27 homes will be released to the market on June 11. A full display will be ready for viewing and registrations of interest are now being taken.
