Locals invited to celebrate!

July 28, 2015

Radio Rentals Maryborough is inviting locals to join in the celebrations!

This week the newly refurbished store will be officially opened by Radio Rentals CEO James Marshall who sees the opening as an opportunity to thank the Maryborough community for its unwavering support over the past three decades.

“I am delighted to be visiting Maryborough to open the new-look store and look forward to meeting some of our local customers who have been such strong supporters of Radio Rentals over the past 30 plus years,” Mr Marshall said.

“We have been a part of this community for such a long time and our commitment to the area remains strong, both in regard to offering local employment opportunities and in supporting locals to get a fair go.”

“I’m also looking forward to meeting and congratulating the local Radio Rentals team who deserve to be recognised after being named finalists for the ‘Store of the Year’ title during our annual conference earlier this month. They have done an outstanding job in the last year and it’s another reason for celebration.”

“Over the past year the team at the Maryborough store has shown exemplary customer service. The secret to their success is that they are dedicated to improving themselves and the store and have a shared common goal to help others.”

Store Manager Wayne Elford said he was delighted to have Mr Marshall in town to open the new store along with Mayor Gerard O’Connell and local MP Bruce Saunders; and he encouraged locals to come along and join in the festivities.

“The opening of the new store is a great way to thank our loyal customers for their support and it promises to be a fun morning,” said Mr Elford, who has been with Radio Rentals for over 16 years.

“We pride ourselves in contributing to our local economy and the 6 locals we have in our team are looking forward to welcoming the community to the store on Thursday.”

Mr Elford and his Radio Rentals Maryborough team will host the grand opening on Thursday 30 July at 154 Adelaide Street with local radio station SEA FM, a face-painter, free giveaways, morning tea and the chance to win a 50-inch full HD LED TV.

“Whilst the official opening on the day will be 10.30am we will be opening our doors from 9am and the team are looking forward to seeing everyone there,” Mr Elford said.
