Golf with a twist

Kawana Waters Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Annual Golf Day, Friday 17 May

May 2, 2013

The Kawana Waters Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KWCCI) will host one of their flagship events for 2013 with their 29th Annual Golf Day on Friday 17 May.

Kerry Ricketts, KWCCI acting president said the chamber is very happy to return to one of their favourite local courses at Caloundra for a great day out of the office.

“The day will involve 18 holes of golf followed by dinner, this event offers a great opportunity to meet many local business owners in a fun social environment,” Mr Ricketts said.

Each hole is available for themed sponsorship so participants are sure for an exciting and different round of golf with a twist. There will be holes differently themed from casino, cricket, darts or party holes, making for lots of laughs.

“The event has gained an enormous amount of support over the years building to become one of the best corporate golf days in our region,” Mr Ricketts said.

“We hope that businesses will join us for a enjoyable day as either as a sponsor or by submitting a team, we also have more than $1000 worth of prizes up for grabs,” Mr Ricketts said.

“The day provides a great opportunity to get out of the office with a few colleagues for a team-building activity, say thanks to clients, enjoying our stunning environment and supporting the Chamber,” Mr Ricketts said.

“I’m looking forward to seeing many familiar, as well as new, faces out there on the fairway,” Mr Ricketts said.

There are a limited number of sponsorship opportunities and places for people to get involved still available for this Annual Golf Day. To find out more contact Glenda on 5491 5362 or email chamber@kawanachamber.com.au.
