Brides get set for one-stop-bridal-shop expo

The it’s my wedding Expo, incorporating Honeymoon Destinations, is coming to the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, September 26, 2010. Brides-to-be should mark this event in the diary as it promises to provide an exciting and invaluable showcase of all things bridal for anyone planning to take their vows on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
The expo features everything the discerning bride needs and more with displays, workshops, fashion parades featuring exclusive Jonathan James couture, fantastic prizes and your chance to speak one-on-one with those important people like celebrants, hair and make-up stylists, photographers, caterers, venue operators, entertainers and florists … just to name a few.
This is the second it’s my wedding Expo this year with the March event held in Noosa being sold out. Event organisers, Dee and Mark Collins said that brides love the fact that everything they need to create their ideal wedding from start to finish can be found in this one-stop-shop.
“What we love about our bridal expos is that we have the opportunity to really contribute to making our bride’s wedding day an incredible experience. With so many wedding and honeymoon specialists on hand to guide them, brides leave feeling excited, educated and prepared for turning their wedding dreams into reality,” said Dee.
“Whether it’s preparing invitations or organising hen’s parties, arranging honeymoons or accommodation for guests or even choosing a wedding planner, having the professionals on hand to supply the information, identify and discuss options and provide solutions, affords couples the opportunity to make discerning choices.”
“We still have a few stands available but have seen a great response from exhibitors who realise the potential of having hundreds of brides in one location. We are very excited with the great range of products and services on offer.”
Another major drawcard is the fantastic prizes which are drawn at the Expo including a dream honeymoon to Thailand with two nights in Phuket and two nights in Bangkok staying at Banyan Tree plus a $2,000 voucher for flights and transfers from Russell and Turner Travel Associates; or two lucky brides winning a $1,000 gift certificate each from Gowns of Elegance.
On arrival at the Expo, all brides will receive a Bride’s Goodie Bag complete with the latest bridal magazine, samples and other goodies for planning their special day.
