Ausmar Homes takes home MBA gongs

July 28 2012

Ausmar Homes has firmly secured its place as one of the Sunshine Coast’s best builders taking home two awards at the Master Builders Sunshine Coast Housing & Construction Awards hosted at the Novotel Twin Waters last night.

The Cooroy-based building company will add the awards to the already impressive display of 12 MBA gongs taken home in the past six years.  Last night the builders were recognised as Display Home of the Year (up to $275k category) and Low-Rise Multi Residential Housing Project of the Year (townhouse category).

After collecting the awards Ausmar Director, Tim Hendy said the team would be celebrating their success come Monday and looked forward to competing further in the Master Builders Awards on a State and potentially National stage in the coming months.

“It’s thanks to the great team we have at Ausmar Homes that we are able to build award-winning homes as well as our commitment to using local tradies and suppliers which has seen us build excellent relationships and achieve great outcomes for our clients over the years,” said Tim.

“While the industry is doing it fairly tough, initiatives like our no cost and obligation-free design service has made it possible for people to start planning their homes and feel confident about who they are working,” he continued.

“Building your dream home is one of the most significant things you can do in your lifetime so we take our role very seriously and understand the importance of ongoing, personal customer service throughout the process.  We couldn’t achieve the results we do without the dedicated team we have at Ausmar so I’d like to thank them for their continued support.”

Despite the building industry experiencing difficult times, Ausmar Homes has continued to move forward with the recent launch of an innovative new set of plans, the opening of the Gympie display home at The Aspect Estate and the imminent opening of their Bells Reach display home in August.    The company is also working on a number of custom build projects across the Coast and has recently expanded operations to Brisbane following an increased number of enquiries.

“The increased demand for our services in Brisbane is an exciting expansion for the business and this weekend we’re exhibiting at the HIA Renovate & Build Expo at the Brisbane Convention Centre to respond to that demand,” said Tim.

“We also launched our hot-off-the-press Ideas Book at the Expo which anyone building a home can use to help guide them through the process of building a dream home.  The book is free and can be picked up at the Expo, at our display homes or at our offices in Cooroy.”
