‘Angels’ to speak at women’s breakfast this October

October 1, 2010

The month of October is recognised nationally as breast cancer awareness month and on Tuesday 12 October Sharon Tregoning, Founder and Chairwoman of BreastANGELS and Debbie Clayton, Founder and Director of Beautiful You will speak at the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network Breakfast at the Maroochydore Surf Club.

Sharon and Debbie, both passionate supporters of the cause and committed to helping women and their families living with cancer, will share why they started their remarkably compassionate programs as well as their hopes and plans for the future.

Sharon, who is also the creator of Practical Positivity, an online business offering support and tools empowering people to live fuller, happier lives founded her charity BreastANGELS in April last year in response to the lack of advice, guidance and support at hand for women with a high risk of breast cancer.

Debbie founded Beautiful You in memory of her Mum who lost her battle with breast cancer and since losing her Mum has been dedicated to supporting women suffering from cancer and their families here on the Coast.

Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network President, Sue Willis says that both Sharon and Debbie’s passion and heartfelt commitment to assisting women is unwavering and we eagerly look forward to hearing from these two amazing local ladies at the breakfast.

“As breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women in Australia, this inspirational morning will be sure to provide those attending the event with the tools and strategies they may need to either deal with or support someone they know who is affected by breast cancer,” Sue said.

This breakfast is proudly sponsored by Stewart Tandy & Associates and will kick off at 6.30am for a 7.00am start on Tuesday, October 12.

Tickets are $37 for members and $54.50 for non-members. For booking information please contact Chelsea Hunter on 0412 525 854 before Wednesday October 6, or alternatively book online at www.scbwn.org.au

Want to do more? BreastANGELS merchandise will be available for sale on the day and with every purchase you are supporting women at risk of or impacted by breast cancer on their journey, whilst increasing awareness of breast cancer.

Ends.
