A delivery of deals with fourth edition of Coolum Little Book of Vouchers launched

August 11, 2015

As the Sunshine Coast enters a slower economic time before the lead up to Christmas, the Coolum Business and Tourism Association is launching its ever-popular Coolum Little Book of Vouchers to re-energise spending for not only the coming months but until July 2016.

With over 25 businesses advertising great deals, the booklet offers everything from discounted activities to free coffee and half price meals. With a total circulation of 30,000, 10,000 booklets are being hand-delivered to households from Peregian to Twin Waters this week.

Di Stevenson from The Caf in Coolum has advertised in each edition of the booklet and has seen great results for her business.

“We have noticed a great level of repeat business from customers and the voucher deals have been very effective in bringing more customers through our door, either locals who hadn’t visited our cafe for a while, or tourists who wouldn’t have found us in Birtwill Street,” said Ms Stevenson.

“The Little Book is a high-quality publication that is a cost-effective way for our business to gain exposure and we enjoy being part of a concept that collectively profiles Coolum Beach.’

This edition offers useful information including a well-stocked events calendar, maps and an activities directory. With vouchers valid until the end of July 2016, the public have ample time to make use of all the offers in the booklet by taking the tear-out vouchers to the relevant businesses.

Vice President of the Coolum Business and Tourism Association, Kim Anderson, believes the booklet showcases all that Coolum and its surrounds have to offer.

“Packaging local businesses together with all the great activities this picturesque part of the Sunshine Coast offers means locals and visitors alike can enjoy a great day trip rediscovering Coolum’s unique shopping experience,” said Ms Anderson.

The Coolum Little Book of Vouchers booklets are available from Visitor Information Centres and each business advertising in the booklet.
