Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network – Press release

August 31, 2010
If you’re looking for inspiration, look no further and book your place at the next Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network breakfast on Tuesday September 14, where attendees will hear passionate, empowering and motivating stories when the top five 2010 Business Women of the Year share how they came to become this year’s winners.

This event follows on from a string of events honouring the award winners Lindy Atkin, Linda Ireland, Rayeleene Elston, Sarah Pye and Lisa Aitken and will ensure their story is shared with as many other talented and promising women from our local business community as possible.

Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network President Sue Willis says as women working hard in business, we can never hear enough inspirational and supportive stories to nurture our confidence and self-esteem so that we may realise our own full potential in both our personal and business life.

“It is very invigorating and humbling to be part of such a group of like-minded women who are all passionate and committed to supporting and mentoring each other on their own unique business journeys,” said Sue.

The event, sponsored by Steps Ahead, will also include a post breakfast workshop facilitated by Essentials 4 Business and in support of this month’s motivating and encouraging theme, will provide invaluable information on how to streamline your personal and business ethos tips on performance management strategies, the value of position descriptions and KPI’s and how to engage your workforce to produce results.

The breakfast is to be held at the Maroochydore Surf Club on Tuesday September 14 and kicks off at 6:30am. Tickets are $37 for members and $54.50 for non-members. For bookings or more information, please visit www.scbwn.org.au or contact Chelsea Hunter on 0412 525 854.

Ends.
