Cutting-edge Queensland-based compensation law firm Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP) has maintained its position as one of the top ranked firms in the country, with six of its lawyers receiving high-level rankings in the prestigious Doyle’s Guide for 2022.

“I’m pleased to share we have six lawyers who have received high-level rankings on this respected, independent listing. I am so proud of our team and the firm we have built in less than 5 years,” Managing Partner, Travis Schultz, said.

Making her debut in the 2022 Doyle’s Guide is TSP senior associate Rachel Last, who was named as just one of six in the category of Injury & Compensation Law Rising Stars.

“This year marks four years in legal practice for me, during which time I made the daunting decision to move away from commercial litigation to personal injury law,” Ms Last said.

“Being named in this year’s Doyle’s Guide is an absolute honour and reinforces for me that I am truly doing work that makes a difference and positively influences my profession.”

The TSP young gun was also recently recognised in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards which Mr Schultz, said is testament to the calibre of talent at the firm.

“At TSP, one of our key values is to provide our clients with unparalleled expertise and the recognition the firm has received in recent times reinforces our credibility for delivering on that promise,” Mr Schultz said.

Mr Schultz once again achieved the rare honour of being the only lawyer in Queensland to be recognised with a Preeminent ranking in three compensation law categories including Work Injury Compensation (Plaintiff), Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation (Plaintiff) and Public Liability (Plaintiff).

Other TSP lawyers who ranked highly included:

  • Tim McClymont who was recognised as Leading Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff), Leading Public Liability Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff) and Recommended Work Injury Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff).
  • Hugh Powell who received Recommended Work Injury Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff), Recommended Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff) and Recommended Leading Public Liability Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff).
  • Trent Johnson who also received Recommended Leading Work Injury Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff), Recommended Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff) and Recommended Public Liability Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff).
  • Mark O’Connor who was recognised as Recommended Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff) and Recommended Public Liability Compensation Lawyer (Plaintiff).

The boutique firm has enjoyed a steady upwards trajectory since its inception in 2018, with this year’s Doyle’s Guide cementing that further, yet again recognising TSP as a Leading Law Firm in three categories including Work Injury Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation and Public Liability.

“To be considered as one of the best compensation law firms in the country by our peers is a tremendous honour and reinforces to me that we’ve hit the right balance of providing our clients with a dynamic, passionate and highly experienced team of specialists while maintaining our commitment to lower fees, and being a community conscious law firm,” Mr Schultz said.

The Australian Doyle’s Guide is an annual listing of the best lawyers in Australia based on peer surveys with rankings determined on ability and the quality of positive feedback. More information about the 2021 Australian Doyle’s Guide rankings can be viewed at www.doylesguide.com.
