Deputy Leader of the Liberal National Party of Queensland (LNP) Jarrod Bleijie MP will be the guest speaker at the Sunshine Coast Business Council’s upcoming luncheon, providing an opportunity for the local business community to hear how the LNP plans to address critical issues impacting the region’s economy, should they be successful in winning the state elections in October.
Mr Bleijie is expected to share the LNP’s strategy regarding investment in infrastructure, as well as planning for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, when he addresses more than 120 business leaders at The Lakehouse on Friday, 30 August.
Sunshine Coast Business Council (SCBC) Chair Sandy Zubrinich said the corporate luncheon is a golden opportunity for businesses to directly engage with a key political leader to better understand the LNP’s proposed strategies to bolster regional economies.
“With local government elections just behind us, state elections coming up in October and potentially a federal election within the next six months, this luncheon is perfectly timed to give the Sunshine Coast business community an insight into the LNP’s position,” Ms Zubrinich said.
