Reed and RCQ raise vital funds for foster kids

August 10, 2016

Team members from Sunshine Coast-based organisations Reed Property Group and RCQ Construction recently pulled out the PJs and dressing gowns to take part in Australia’s largest pyjama party on National Pyjama Day, raising funds for children in foster care.

Collectively, the two businesses raised over $2,000 in staff donations, with the funds set to be used by The Pyjama Foundation to purchase educational resources and help provide stable, positive relationships for foster children. Staff members also contributed 25 pairs of pyjamas and a dressing gown to the cause.

Earlier this year, Reed Property Group and RCQ Construction identified both The Pyjama Foundation and SunnyKids as their focus charities for the year. Both charities aim to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
