Almost 200 of the ‘who’s who’ in the Queensland legal fraternity descended on Brisbane’s Eagle Street last night to help celebrate the growing success and new office of award-winning compensation law firm, Travis Schultz & Partners (TSP), and together they raised just over $10,000 for LifeFlight.
TSP Managing Partner, Travis Schultz, said the firm had outgrown their previous Brisbane location and had moved to a new city location in Adelaide Street to accommodate their growing team and better serve the needs of their client base.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from the professional community and humbled by the fact that we are managing growth rather than struggling to maintain it,” Mr Schultz said.
Special Counsel and Personal Injury Accredited Specialist, Trent Johnson, manages TSP’s new Brisbane office and said the firm attributes their success to their focus on social justice rather than maximising profits.
“Our experienced and dynamic team firmly believe in our guiding values of fairness, respect, and compassion, and I believe our commitment to being a professional services firm means we always put people before profits,” Mr Johnson said.
The TSP team invited their special guests to experience ‘Barossa in Brisbane’ while enjoying the city lights and sweeping views from the Story Bridge down to Kangaroo Point.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to offer our esteemed legal colleagues a chance to experience the Barossa in Brisbane, with an exclusive wine tasting evening in the company of Reid Bosward of award-winning Kaesler Wines,” Mr Schultz said.
“Reid offered his insights into his viticultural approach with a showing of his finest wines, while guests were asked to show their support for a cause that is near and dear to us, RACQ LifeFlight Rescue,” he said.
Travis Schultz is a member of the Queensland LifeFlight Foundation Board and has also written a regular wine blog for the Sunshine Coast Daily/Courier Mail for the past 15 years.
“It was exciting to host an event that combines a number of our TSP passions,” Mr Schultz said. “That being a focus on community conscience and raising funds for a good cause, celebrating and connecting with like-minded people, and of course… wine!”
