Get inspired with Cultivate!

May 4, 2011

Looking for an edgy arts magazine that is bursting with informative articles and an extensive program of events that are based on the Sunshine Coast? Well you need to get your hands on the Sunshine Coast Council’s Cultivate publication.

Fresh PR & Marketing were responsible for assisting in the development of title, brand and style of the first edition launched in February and wrote articles for the publication which is current until June. Preparation is now under way for edition two, set to be distributed in July and the standard has been set high. The magazine has received great reviews from readers interested in the arts, families looking for weekend activities, tourists visiting our region and even businesses associated with the arts.

The magazine is a free bi-annual and through great design, beautiful photography and relevant articles it explores the initiatives and partnerships that nurture, promote and enrich the culture of the Sunshine Coast.

The new magazine encourages readers to take time out to enjoy the diverse range of creative, educational and culturally-enriched activities there are to experience at our local galleries, libraries, venues, museums and more.

To wet your tastebuds for the next edition… stories will include insights into emerging local new media artist Beau Deeley and international visiting artist Andy Goldsworthy, all there is to know about the regional ‘Sunday Sounds’ performance program and much more.

You can pick up a copy of Cultivate at any one of the Council libraries, galleries, venues, visitor information centres and council customer service centres across the Coast. Alternatively visit www.cultivate.org.au to read a copy online or request a copy.

Ends.
