Business women in full swing at annual golf day

September 19, 2011

Registrations are now open for the 2011 Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network Ladies Golf Day to be held at Peregian Springs Golf Club on Friday October 7.

Following the success of last year’s annual golf day, proudly sponsored by 92.7 Mix FM, the day promises fun for all whether you are a professional golfer or a novice, with competitions, auctions, lunch and brekkie as well as a golf clinic with the local pro’s.

Sue Willis, Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network President, says the annual Ambrose competition is an opportunity for like-minded business women to get together to network in a fun, relaxed environment.

“The Annual Ladies Golf Day is a highlight on the social calendar and an event not to be missed. As well as being a fun and entertaining day out, this year’s event will be competitive not only for the experienced golfer but also for the non-golfers out there, so we invite you come along and experience this fantastic venue and enjoy the game of golf,” said Sue.

The day will kick off with registrations commencing at 6.30am followed by breakfast and then teeing off at 8.30am. The Golf Clinic competition starts at 10am followed by a gourmet BBQ lunch, presentations and the auction of a generous advertising package with Southern Cross Media valued at $5,000.

There will be great prizes on offer for the best dressed teams as well as a host of other competitions throughout the day. If you don’t already have a team, individual entries are welcome and will be organised into teams of four.

All teams will be supplied with two motorised golf buggies and a mystery gift to assist you along the way and equipment can be hired from the Peregian Golf Club Pro Shop.

All bookings must be received and prepaid by Friday September 30. To make a booking or for more information, please visit www.scbwn.org.au or contact Kerry or Michelle on 0412 525 854 / 0417 006 242

Ends.
