Almost 600 new homes are on their way to Ipswich with the launch of Stockland’s newest precinct, The Grove, at Springfield Rise, with homesites in the first release priced from $577,900 for 315sqm.

The Grove marks Springfield Rise’s first major precinct launch in more than two years and builds on the community’s proven popularity, with more than 10,000 residents already calling Springfield Rise home.

The 581-lot precinct will feature its own central park and connect seamlessly to Springfield Rise’s 13 existing parks and three major recreation hubs, including Silver Jubilee Park and the Springfield Central Sporting Complex, as part of more than 50 hectares of open space and parks across the community.

Stockland Project Director Graeme Knox said The Grove reflects the strong and ongoing demand for new housing in Greater Springfield.

“The Grove is an important milestone for Springfield Rise, taking the community to around 90 per cent of its planned 4,500 homesites. We’re continuing to see strong demand from both upgraders and first-home buyers who want to call Springfield home,” Mr Knox said.

“This precinct offers the best of both worlds – surrounded by nature while being just minutes from schools, shops, health services and public transport. It’s a proud moment as Springfield surpasses its 30-year anniversary as one of Australia’s most successful masterplanned cities.”

Local couple Jarred and Clare Hancock are among those who have chosen to stay and grow within the community, recently completing their second home in Springfield Rise after starting out in the Highlands precinct.

For us, Springfield Rise has been both a smart financial decision and a place we enjoy living in,” Mr Hancock said.

“We were only 23 at the time of our first purchase, but Springfield Rise ticked every box – well connected to Brisbane CBD, close to everything in Springfield, and a great long-term investment. Many of our friends and family are also here, which makes it feel even more like home.

“Now, seven years on, we’ve upgraded to a bigger block and built a new home we can see ourselves starting a family in. With the schools, parks and community feel, we know Springfield Rise is the right place for the next stage of our lives.

Settlements for the new release are expected from early 2027, with residents anticipated to move into their new homes later that year.
